Rules and Terms of Use
- Users are required to adhere to the Terms of Use. By using Školjka, the user automatically accepts Rules and Terms of Use.
- We reserve the right to change the Terms of Use without a prior notice. However, in the case of a major change, a notice will be displayed on the home page.
- Misuse of security or other bugs is forbidden. We ask the users to report any bugs they find.
- Users are allowed to upload own or 3rd party tasks. In the case of 3rd party tasks, the user is responsible for checking whether the tasks are allowed to be published on a public website. Moderators have a right to remove without a prior notice any content (tasks, solutions, message or other) they consider to be copyright infringement.
- Users that fill out their profile should be aware that all the information will be publicly visible.
- Školjka currently does not track or keep statistics on activities of individual users. However, we reserve the right to log the visited URLs for the purposes of improving the service, fixing interface and security bugs. We also reserve the right to gather anonymous statistics like total number of page views.
- Školjka automatically analyzes the tasks that a user solves, puts on the to-do list or submits a solution to, with the purpose of generating recommendations.
- Despite the authors of Školjka trying to remove any security bugs, we cannot guarantee the safety of private data like the e-mail address, private messages, hidden tasks and other non-public data. We recommend against using Školjka as a storage of competition task drafts or any other sensitive information. We further recommend against using passwords used on other websites or services.
- Private messages, hidden tasks and hidden collections are visible only to those users with explicitly given view permissions (given through the interface). However, none of these tasks are encrypted and it may happen that administration inadvertently see the data due to current technical limitations. Školjka is not a place for storing or sending private data.
- Users are not allowed to public offensive, unethical or illegal or in any other sense inappropriate content. Moderators have a right to remove such content without prior notice.
- Moderators reserve the right to perform minor changes to publicly visible tasks without prior notice, which may include fixing typos, improving text clarity, fixing LaTeX errors, fixing incorrectly transcribed text of existing tasks and so on.
- Moderators may block access to any user not adhering to the Terms of Use.
